This Privacy Policy explains how Yaswanth Somala, trading as eInvoicePad ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use eInvoicePad at https://einvoicepad.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Summary

• There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email or payment details to use the Service.
• Everything you type into the calculator (rates, hours, client names, invoice numbers and similar details) is processed entirely in your browser. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.
• If you turn on "Remember my details on this device", your inputs are saved in your own browser only, and you can delete them at any time.
• PDF invoices are generated on your device and saved directly to it.
• We display ads through Google AdSense. Advertising cookies are only set if you accept them.
• We do not sell your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

Information you enter into the tools. Calculator inputs and invoice details stay in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page, unless you choose to save them (see below). We have no access to them.

Saved inputs (optional). If you tick "Remember my details on this device", the calculator saves the details you entered, such as your name, client details, tax registration numbers, line items, rates and settings (but not dates), in your browser's local storage so they are filled in on your next visit. This copy stays on your device and is never sent to us or to advertisers. Untick the option to delete it immediately, or clear this site's data in your browser. Do not use this option on a shared or public computer.

Technical data collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs when your browser requests a page. These can include your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, the pages requested and the date and time of the request. These logs are used only to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the Service.

Cookies and local storage. We store your cookie consent choice in your browser's local storage so that we do not ask again on every visit, and your saved inputs if you turn that option on. If you accept advertising cookies, Google and its partners may set cookies and similar identifiers as described in Section 3.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to reply.

3. Advertising and Third-Party Cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads that keep the Service free. If you consent, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the internet.

4. How and Why We Use Information

• To operate, secure and improve the Service (legitimate interests).
• To show advertising, personalised only where you have consented (consent).
• To respond to messages you send us (legitimate interests, or steps you request).
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Information may be processed by:

• Our hosting and infrastructure providers, to deliver the website.
• Google, as the advertising provider, if you consent to advertising cookies.
• Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights, safety and the integrity of the Service.

Under some US state laws, allowing advertising cookies for personalised ads may be treated as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can opt out at any time by choosing "Reject" in Cookie Settings.

6. Data Retention

We do not store your calculator or invoice data on our servers. Inputs you choose to save stay in your browser until you untick "Remember my details" or clear this site's data. Server logs are kept only for as long as our hosting provider needs them for security and operations. Your consent choice remains in your browser until you clear it. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. International Transfers

Our service providers, including Google, may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, they rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU/UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent at any time, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Because we do not keep calculator data or user accounts, we usually hold no personal data that identifies you. To make a request, email support@einvoicepad.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For data held by Google in connection with advertising, please use Google's privacy controls.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

The Service is served over encrypted HTTPS and keeps your inputs on your own device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-Party Links

Ads and links may take you to websites we do not operate. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Please review it periodically.
